It is to inform the Pre-final year students of associated colleges that a team of HQ 2 Corps comprising of Colonel ML Gandotra and Lt Colonel Bikram Ajit Singh will be arriving at APIIT SD INDIA Campus on 22 Nov 2012 at 0900hrs onwards to conduct interviews for preliminary selection for SSB of UES-23. This drive is only for the selection of unmarried male candidates only.

Studying in Pre-Final Year Engineering ( III year ) in academic session 2012-13 for Grant of Permanent Commission in the Army.

Age Limit: Born between 02 Jul 89 and 01 Jul 95 - Not below 18 Yrs and not over 24 Yrs

Educational Qualification: Candidates studying in the Pre – Final of the Engineering Course in recognised Universities/ Institutions/Colleges in the subjects mentioned above will be eligible to apply but must possess the educational qualification at the time of joining training or produce the proof of having obtained the educational qualification within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training for the grant of Permanent Commission in the Army.

All candidates may be apprised of the following :-

• The candidates who have failed in any individual subject/ with back log will not be permitted to appear for the interview.
• Candidates will be prepared to submit all documents in support of their eligibility.

Stipend During Training : During the period of training the candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 21,000/- p.m. (Rs. 15,600/- as pay in Pay Band Plus Grade Pay Rs 5,400/-).

Pay Scale (After Training) : Rs.PB-3 – 15600-39100/- GP Rs.5400/- +MSP Rs.6000/- Approx. CTC Rs.65000/- PM.

Privileges : In addition to the CTC mentioned above, Army provides free Medical Facilities for Self & dependents, Canteen facilities, Entitled Ration, Mess/Club/Sports Facilities, Furnished Govt Accommodation, Car/Housing Loan at subsidised rate.

• Fully filled UES 23 Application Form.
• The envelop (white) containing the application should be SUPERSCRIBED IN RED INK indicating clearly the branch of Engineering applied for. For example ‘ APPLICATIONS FOR 23 UES ENTRY ENGINEERING’.
• Attested copies of 10th , 12th , mark-sheets & certificates and Graduate marks statement up last semester ... 
• 4 attested Photographs ... 
• Two self addressed envelop ... 
• Directors/ Principals certificate by the respective colleges.. 
• Weightage Certificate if any (e.g. NCC ; Sports etc..) 
• A Standard copy Resume ...
